For every correct guess, they earns $10,000 to be added to the pot. Here's the twist, if they get all 5 questions wrong, the three of you earns exemptions and is safe from being executed. If they get even one question correct, the three of you won't earn any exemption. If the "Smart Players" get all 5 questions correct, they will earn the money and also the exemptions.
